A Package...

Today, Lilly received a parcel in the mail.

She lost no time opening it.

Inside she found painting of a handsome rabbit.

Where should she hang it?

First, she tried it on the wall going up the stairs.

Hmmm....

She didn't think that would do at all.

Next she tried it on the wall above her bed.

Yes. That is much better.

She got her painting on Etsy on sale...just in case you are interested. To look at miniature paintings, just type "2x2 painting" or "2x3 painting in the search engine. There are so many to choose from...some truly expensive and others very affordable.

Valentine's Day...

Love is in the air here at Weathertop.

It looks to me like Jem has a special Valentine for one of the girls in his class, but I am sure he would prefer to get her alone to give it to her. Why do girls always stand in groups? I think it must be a conspiracy.

It looks like he's not the only one with a secret crush.

 

Punch and Judy Show...

Minka decided to put on a Punch and Judy show for the little ones.

Despite the sophomoric nature of the show, Jem seemed more interested in finding out what made the puppets work.

Though we had such a lovely list of names to choose from, the name Minka seemed to embed itself upon my brain and refuse to let go. I am sure you are relieved to know that our new Hitty finally has a name. Minka sure is.
