Of Bugs and Other Littles...

I just finished more little peg dolls that had been sitting on my workbench unfinished and I popped them into My Etsy Shop. (Also, I put most of my older peg dolls on sale, if you are interested.)

We've got:

Bumblebees with antennae...

Ladybugs with red glossy wings...

a Firefly with a "glowing" green bottom...

a Mermaid...

I hope she didn't steal her golden trident from her father King Neptune...he might get angry.

And, last but not least, a tiny baby (actually all of the dolls with the rounded shaped bottoms are tiny, about one inch, not including the antennae).

There...you can see her size in my thumb! Tiny!

(I don't know how I feel about that moniker...it makes me feel like I am three and my sisters are babysitting me. Hmphh...)

Now I have to finish that Hitty sitting on my bench...I recarved her face last night. You'll see her soon!

Look What's New in the Shop...

Yesterday, I finished up a few outstanding projects.

Two little houses (which can double as CD cases), perfect for little peg dolls.

There are also two hand-carved peg dolls with moving arms and bunny ears.

One dressed in a blue mermaid dress..

In case you aren't interested in Bunny Mermaids, however, there are five new hand-carved peg dolls...these also have moving arms, but sadly, no ears.

But when you have this many pegs in one little house, there are bound to be secrets...

You better come over and break them up!

Flooring...

I have been working on a house for the Pegs.

Recently, I installed "hard wood flooring."

I am not sure how I will furnish it.
