Moving inland in our Island series, today we will be featuring an Anole. I am not as pleased with these photos as I would like to be because this little guy was hanging out in the shadow of the house and without sunlight, delicate features and coloring are hard to capture.
I love the delicate blue coloring around his eye and his tiny little claws.

I am not sure if our tiny crab from last week was a sand crab or not, but it seemed natural to feature my little sand crabs next.
These little guys dig holes in the sand. If you are patient and watch carefully, you can see them bring up the spare sand to dump outside of their holes.

Williamstown is a lovely little town. I couldn't quite believe it when I happened upon this narrow alleyway off the main street. I've visited Williamstown before and never noticed this spot. I felt a little bit like I was Harry Potter seeing the Leaky Cauldron for the first time while all the other people walked by oblivious to it.

After enjoying our visit to The Clark, we took a walk around Williamstown and visited the edge of Williams College. It wasn't an official visit, but we wanted a closer look at some of the buildings. Williams College has a beautiful campus within walking distance of The Clark museum.
This is the Thompson Memorial Chapel.
I love the reflection of the clouds in the windows of all of these photos.
