Monkey Business : SSI

When it was time for me to come home from the Island, I left a little piece of myself behind for future visitors (or cleaners) to find.

Monkey See, Monkey Do...

 

Mr. Business has a bit of dust on his derriere. That is a long time to wait for someone to see your bit of sass.

 

Just sitting around waiting for the snow to begin...

...well, I won't be just sitting, but we all do seem to be in a state of collective pause here Upstate.

Monkey Business : the Ikea Segment...

We had planned to go to Boston this last weekend, but at the last minute, for reasons of which I am sure you are all aware, we changed our plans. It was disappointing to say the least and we decided to try to salvage the weekend with a trip to New Jersey instead...with a trip to Ikea.

While at Ikea I decided to hide several monkeys amongst the displays for other people to find. Do you remember when I did this on a regular basis?

When Mr. Business was finished bringing his message to the masses, he decided to take a nap under the palm trees in the gardening section.

I know for a fact that my son found and snatched at least one of these fellows, which kind of defeats the purpose, I think.

Oh well. I guess it brought a smile to someone's face, even if it was my own son.
