Candle for Kenneth...

Here in Upstate New York, we lost a dear, sweet little friend, Kenneth White. I had the priveledge to watch over him at recess and I will miss him greatly.

Many people will be lighting candles and turning on their porch lights over the next few days in memory of this sweet little guy.

I will miss you buddy, each and every day at recess!

 

Snow...Snow...and more Snow...

(Okay, so this is from yesterday...we were having problems with power and internet connectivity).

We are in the middle of a three day winter event, which, in the Helderbergs, equates to lots of snow. The funny thing is that only 25 miles away or so, they got very little if any snow.

 

 

 

 

Just in case you can't tell, this is an entire tree, bent under the weight of the snow, arching over our neighbor's cars. Luckily, no cars were hurting in the making of this photo.

 

 

 

 

We got at least another 6-8 inches after this.
