Last weekend we took Judy to visit Wells College in Aurora, NY. It is situated in a little town on the shores of Cayuga Lake, the longest of New York's glacial Fingerlakes.
It was quite rural, and the day quite deary. At first we were a bit doubtful about how we'd like it, but in the end we all agreed; it is a nice little college and we think Judy could be happy there.
Here are some photos from the campus.

One of the things we liked about Wells was the mixture of old and new buildings. We were impressed by the thoughtful and varied design of the new buildings. They were beautifully designed. It seemed like every window had a lovely view.
Wells College was founded as a women's college by Henry Wells (also the founder of Wells Fargo) in 1868. He graduated from nearby Cornell University and believed that women deserved institutions of higher learning as well. It became co-educational in 2005.
