Today I have more necklaces for you...this time featuring lockets.
The first is a necklace I promised to make...it is the delft necklace in silver-toned metal instead of sterling, to make it more affordable. I paired the chain with a shiny silver locket, but as the locket attaches to the chain by a swivel clasp, you can change the pendant to something else if you wish.
I won't bother to tell you about it since I have already described this necklace, but here are some pictures.
You can see my reflection in the locket...not sure I like that.
Hmmm...
I wonder what that encyclopedia page is talking about...
You can find this necklace in my shop here.
The second necklace is also a locket, but this one I made from gun metal colored chain and wire.
The locket hangs from a vintage rosary center. It is two sided and opens to let the wearer add a photo or two of his or her choice. The crystal windows are beveled.
Right now it has a sweet little lavender toned vintage print of a little girl in it.
Like I said, the chain is made from gun metal colored chain and wire. There are sections of chain, connected together by lengths of hand-wrapped rosary style chain featuring amethyst colored faceted crystals and hand-wrapped links with dark purple-ish red faceted fresh water pearls.
The combination of colors has a very smokey, subtle and romantic feel to it.
You can find both of these necklaces in My Etsy Shop.
