Before moving to Texas, one of my sister's favorite decorating mediums was dried weeds. I didn't blame her; their skeletal structure and neutral tones were as aesthetically pleasing as any artwork or collectible bauble one might set on their shelves. But when she moved to Texas, she had to leave all of her weeds behind. I am glad to see a hint of them creeping back into her decor.
This carving of a Squirrel carries with it a bit more foreshadowing than I am comfortable with at this time...as you will see in a later post.
