I am preparing my post for Pink Saturday early this week (Tuesday night) on account of my darling daughter having a tonsillectomy Thursday. Nothing for being organized like a couple of gargantuan tonsils. (She won't let me post a picture of her large, pink, BEFORE-tonsils, so don't run away, I won't be sharing them.
Instead, I thought I would share some more of my neighbors lovely flowers today. I have seven shots...I'll try to mix them up a bit.
Do they call these buds "apples?" I think they should. They look apple-like to me.
They are just so big and pink and ruffly.
I love that hint of yellow peeking from in between the petals.
