We got only a smattering of the snow the rest of the Northeast received, but it was enough to declare our first snowday and spend the day at home, tucked in and warm.

I spent a good portion of the day sewing. How about you?

Self Portraits...

I got my hair colored for the first time today.

I think this calls for some gratuitous self portraits...

Some people go lighter...I went redder.

It is important, after having your hair done, to wear make-up to hide any lack of conviction you might have concerning your new do.

Painting...

Yesterday at Art Camp, my very talented friend, Amy, taught oil painting.

 

Along with art lessons each day, everyone has to do a little creative writing.

 

 

Punch is a little bit young for Art Camp and although he did a little painting of his own, we had to find ways to entertain him.

He did a fabulous job, but kind of lost interest before putting the finishing touches on his painting.

 

 

Here we are trying out the self-portrait feature on my new camera. Very fun!
